MA. GISELA TIONGSON is the President of Jollibee Group Foundation (JGF), the social development arm of Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC), one of the fastest-growing restaurant companies in the world, operating in 34 countries, with over 6,300 stores globally. As head of the Foundation, Gisela oversees JGF’s work in promoting food security through programs in agro-entrepreneurship, education and disaster response. Gisela currently serves as Chairperson of the Association of Foundations in the Philippines, the largest network of nonprofit foundations and organizations in the country. Prior to joining JGF in 2007, Gisela worked with international development organizations and national foundations. Her work experience has spanned foundation management, corporate social responsibility, bridging leadership and social innovation. Gisela obtained her Masteral degree in International Policy and Practice from the George Washington University and has done postgraduate studies at the University of Cambridge Programme for Industry, the Center for the Study of Philanthropy in New York and at the Ateneo de Manila University.
