Megan is a passionate Community Development Scholar and the Co-Founder of two ground up initiatives, Let’s Go Man! and Project Wavelit, both focused on building more inclusive and connected communities. Let's Go Man! is a social intervention program that addresses senior male isolation, a commonly overlooked issue in ageing communities. The initiative offers male focused activities to improve mental well-being and reduce loneliness, engaging up to 80 elderly men monthly with the support of over 20 volunteers. At 19, Megan represented Singapore in Cambodia at the 60th Anniversary of Singapore-Cambodia diplomatic ties, and the Memorandum of Understanding between the People’s Association and the Union Youth Federations of Cambodia. These experiences reflect her dedication to fostering regional and local collaboration in community development.
