Engr. Louie Anciado Lapeñas, PhD, is an experienced environmental engineer currently serving as the Manager of Biodiversity Offset Program Management at San Miguel Aerocity, Inc., leading the first Biodiversity Offset Program in the country for the NMIA Project. He earned his Doctorate in Environmental Engineering from the University of the Philippines Diliman. As a scholar at the University of Houston, Engr. Lapeñas conducted research on wastewater engineering, biofuel production, and bioremediation in 2018. He is an expert in environmental management, biodiversity conservation, wastewater treatment, and sustainability, and is committed to promoting environmental health and social sustainability in large-scale infrastructure projects.
