Pompy is the India Director, MSD for Mothers, Social Business Innovation Team. She is passionate about improving access to quality affordable care and is a strong advocate for using financial and market-based approaches to tackle social challenges. She has over two decades of experience working in healthcare and financial sectors. She leads on outcome based-financing solutions and was instrumental in launching the world’s first health Development Impact Bond (DIB)- Utkrisht, in India in partnership with USAID and UBS which helped scale quality improvement across the private sector to complement Government of India’s efforts on strategic purchase for universal health coverage. She continues to leverage the DIB to crowd source additional funding for critical outcomes innovating on outcomes-based financing approaches to scale and sustain impactful programs to meet broader access goals.
