Shekar Prabhakar co-founded Hasiru Dala Innovations in 2015 as a for-purpose company that provides innovative waste management solutions through inclusive business models to transform the lives of waste pickers. He has over 22 years of corporate experience in sales & marketing in the IT industry in India, the UK, and the US, and as a Professor of Marketing for 10 years. He is a graduate of IIT Madras and IIM Calcutta. With Hasiru Dala Innovations, he has pioneered the Inclusive Circularity® movement in India, which he defines as the deliberate and planned inclusion of waste pickers in the circular economy value chain. As the CEO of Hasiru Dala Innovations, Shekar anchors partnerships with global brands to make their product supply chains circular and inclusive.
