Steward Leadership 25 (SL25) is an annual award that celebrates 25 solutions which demonstrate steward leadership excellence. Now in its fourth iteration, SL25 has celebrated 100 impact stories and continues to showcase more solutions that do well by doing good.

Which solutions qualify?

  • Impact made between 1 October 2023 and 8 October 2025
  • Brings benefit to the organisation the leads to revenue generation (profitability of project will be viewed more favourable than projects that increase the organisation’s reputation)
  • Implemented in Asia and the Pacific
  • Primarily owned, managed and implemented by your organisation

Previous SL25 winners can submit new solutions or past winning solutions that showed significant new process.

No, applying is free.

There are only seven main questions. You may download the application form here. Please note that the offline form is strictly for consultation purposes only, and you would still have to submit your application via the online form here.

No, we do not expect you to provide any confidential information. However, we strongly encourage you to provide evidence of a sound business model that is financially self-sustaining.

Yes, we welcome applications from all sectors, as long as the solution is financially self-sustaining by solving an environmental or social issue.

Yes, as long as the previously submitted solution has shown significant improvements, such as widened impact and a renewed strategy. We also welcome you to submit new solutions that meet the eligibility criteria.

SL25 is a list of 25 financially self-sustaining solutions that tackle an environmental or social problem. The solutions are not ranked.

No, all solutions must have been implemented in Asia and the Pacific.

For non-APAC-headquartered companies, you may submit a solution if its geographical impact is in APAC, and you have an office in the area(s) where your project is implemented.

We may follow up with applicants through the application platform to clarify claims in the application form or request applicants to provide more information via email or virtual interviews.
