Hidayah's journey with the South Central Community Family Service Centre (SCCFSC) began with its KeyStart Home Ownership Programme — which supports low-income families with school-going children or children under the age of 21, who live in subsidised public rental flats in Singapore, to achieve home ownership. 🏠

KeyStart not only provides financial support, but also journeys alongside each family by offering guidance in navigating the processes and unlocking government grants. This enables the children to grow up in a more conducive environment and break out of the poverty cycle.

Hidayah, now a Community Worker at SCCFSC and Co-Founder of the Hey Mama! community-led initiative, helps other women who are in a position she was once in. The Hey Mama! support group provides low-income mothers living in rental neighbourhoods with a network of resources, tools, and community.
