To empower aspiring women entrepreneurs from lower-income segments or with heavy caregiving responsibilities, YWCA of Singapore’s Women Business Accelerator programme will provide training, mentoring, and funding opportunities.

“We sense a very strong need for women to seek greater independence in their choice of careers,” says Ong Puay See, Executive Director, YWCA of Singapore, as she also shares about the organisation’s efforts and impact in driving women’s progress over the last 150 years.

YWCA Women Business Accelerator aims to equip women with essential entrepreneurship knowledge and skills, strengthen their financial adequacy through income growth and increased savings, build their confidence in managing and developing their businesses, and uplift the women’s and their families’ well-being in the long run.

The programme is a curated impact opportunity on the Co-Axis digital impact marketplace. 💡 If you are interested in funding or participating as a mentor in the programme, find out more at https://www.coaxis.network/ or contact coaxis@temasektrust.org.

We spoke to Puay See during Co-Axis' recent community engagement event in celebration of International Women's Day. Read more about the event highlights here.
