Ravi Jayaweera

Dr Ravi Jayaweera is a postdoctoral researcher at the Technical University Lübeck (Germany). Trained as a human geographer, he studied urban sustainability transitions in Southeast Asia for his PhD. As a member of the Build4People project at the University of Hamburg, he implemented transition governance interventions in Cambodia and collaborated with the National Council for Sustainable Development. Ravi now works on sustainable building material transitions in Vietnam for the Rebumat project. Prior to joining the University of Hamburg and the Technical University of Lübeck, Ravi was a consultant for the German policy think tank F+B and gained experience with UN-Habitat, GIZ and the German development bank KFW. He is based in Bangkok.
