Four passions define Katie Chen as a lifelong sustainability advocate — linguistics, geopolitics, sustainability and public speaking. Inspired by linguistics in her undergraduate studies in Taiwan, she decided to explore theories of international relations during her first master's degree in Hong Kong. She later pursued a second master's degree in sustainability in France. Currently, Katie serves as an European Climate Pact Ambassador in Paris, advocating for sustainable development through her observations of sustainability practices across Europe and Asia. Her goals are to raise public awareness of sustainability issues and the risks we face, as well as to promote building sustainable cities. She hopes to fulfil these through her passion of public speaking on the international stage one day. She is also an art lover.
