I am Sivaranjini, a 41-year-old individual deeply passionate about harnessing the power of music for social impact and change. As the Founder and Director of Drum Prodigy Singapore, I have dedicated the past 17 years to creating impactful music programs tailored to diverse communities, with a special focus on persons with disabilities and youth-at-risk. I work closely with children as young as 2 years old and elderly populations too. My roles include Head of Academics & Research, Arts Educator and Trainer. In my capacity as the head of academics and research, I've steered Drum Prodigy Singapore towards development of the Drum Prodigy Methodology, Inclusive Music and Community Arts programmes, Inclusive Hiring programmes for adults with disabilities and curate music events for community integration. As an arts educator, I utilise rhythm-based tools to empower and transform individuals, particularly those with physical and intellectual disabilities such as Down Syndrome, ADHD, Autism, Global Development Delay, and youth-at-risk.
