As Senior Vice President of Research and Engagement (R&E) at Stewardship Asia Centre, Sunil Puri leads the R&E team, overseeing research, thought leadership, and the design of educational programs, events, toolkits, and frameworks. Before joining SAC, Sunil served as Senior Director of Research, Innovation, and Product Development at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) in Singapore and India. In this role, he led the development of new products based on research, collaborated with clients as a leadership expert, and worked with global stakeholders to shape and execute the annual research agenda. From 2014 to 2016, he was Head of Research & Insights at the Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI), where he led Pan-Asia research initiatives on "Asian leader development" and facilitated programs for senior business and HR leaders. Sunil’s career also includes experience as an Independent Consultant in India, as well as an eight-year tenure at CEB India (now Gartner) in India and the USA. Sunil holds a Master of Technology in Energy Studies from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, and an Executive MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. He has authored several research studies and contributed articles to the Economic Times, The Business Times, and Harvard Business Review.
