I’m a seasoned board advisor with 20+ years of experience in corporate governance and responsible business, including 15 years as a Partner at PwC. I have a track record outstanding client service and of building and leading businesses in professional services. I’m focused on connecting evidence, policy and practice in the areas of corporate governance, ESG, and responsible business. I retired from the PwC partnership in June 2020 to pursue a portfolio career and I use my academic and business experience to pursue this aim. I am an Executive Fellow at London Business School where I work on issues relating to corporate governance, responsible business, and sustainable investing with the Department of Finance and the Leadership Institute. I cover similar issues in my role as the inaugural Executive Fellow at the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI). I am on the ESG Advisory Committee at the Financial Conduct Authority and on the Advisory Panel of the Financial Reporting Council. I also continue to coach board members and high performers in professional services, and to advise investors, companies, and regulators on matters relating to corporate governance and responsible business.
