Natalie Chung
Co-Founder @ V'air Sustainability EducationNatalie Chung Sum Yue is a leading climate advocate and social entrepreneur, recognised by The Japan Times and Eco-Business as one of the most impactful youth climate leaders driving change in Asia. At the age of 18, she co-founded V’air Sustainability Education, a social enterprise which promotes immersive nature-based learning to address the climate crisis. At the policy level, Natalie is committed to advancing carbon neutrality in Hong Kong and mainland China. She has been appointed by the Hong Kong Chief Executive to serve at the Council for Carbon Neutrality and Sustainable Development and Green Tech Fund Assessment Committee. Natalie graduated with a Distinction from MPhil in Environmental Change and Management at University of Oxford as the Esther Yewpick Lee Millennium Scholar, and a Bachelor in Geography and Resource Management at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. She has co-authored best-selling books on hiking and tourism. Additionally, Natalie was selected as the sole Hong Kong representative for the Antarctic Climate Expedition 2023, led by Dr. Sylvia Earle. Alongside 110 distinguished marine biologists, climate researchers, and policymakers from around the globe, Natalie advocated for climate policies at the nexus of ocean conservation.
